Entry Hall

Looking north, this is the south side of the house, which can be entered by a set of concrete steps with a wooden handrail accented by bowed iron balusters. The porch sits about two feet off the ground on pier and beam foundation, typical of Victorian era homes.
The front door has a large, thick, single beveled glass pane. painted black consistent with Greek Revival colors. Hardware is brass.
Inside the home, the entry hall is lit by a Fenton style glass ceiling fixture with many crystal prisms and framed by a ceiling crown.

Formal Living Room/Dining Room Combo

The Living Room/Dining Room is a large rooom that is easily capable of doing both jobs!
Dining Area, The pull-apart dining table is large enough to seat 12 people. It can be pulled apart to make 2 desks and a credenza type folding table in the middle. Could substitute for an office when not entertaining.
Living Room/Dining Room combo. The fireplace is bordered by black marble. The room gets plenty of light with four very tall windows facing east on the left, south by the fireplace, and a west facing window on the right. The flooring is original wooden planks. All of the wooden floors in the house have been painted at some point and most of it was worn off. They have now been sanded and refinished, with some of the original paint remaining in pockets. The ceiling retains the original wooden beadboard. The large ten light candelabre chandelier has a silver tone plating, possibly nickel or chrome.

Kitchen

Kitchen countertops are hand laid 4"x4" Italian marble tiles with a mother of pearl backsplash. Gray cabinets with matching pearl-like pulls, and easy to clean laminate flooring that won't absorb water. Luxury potfiller above range and plenty of lighting. Connections for both natural gas and electric stoves.

The backsplash is made of Mother-of-Pearl.

Multi-purpose room - Den

This room, which is located between the Main Bedroom and the Entry Hall, is suitable for many purposes, including a family room or den, craft room, library, office, nursery. It has a built in closet with bifold doors.
The Family Room is a cozy room between the main bedroom and the breakfast dining room, adjacent to the entry hall.
It has an original rustic fireplace for use with electric logs or ornamentation, and is the only mantle that has never been painted.

Main Bedroom with Ensuite Attatched Bathroom

The main bedroom is accessed on the bottom floor off the informal family room with a bifold door closet. There is an additional bifold closet directly on the other side of the door in the family room.
The main bedroom floor is original refinished wooden planking, ornate window molding, ceiling fan, and direct access to the outdoor deck. It is directly attached ensuite to the main bathroom.

Main Bathroom

The main bathroom is attached ensuite style to the main bedroom on the ground floor. It has an antique buffet as vanity with gold tone fixtures. .
The tile work in the shower is a masterpiece of art using both white and brown Italian marble with gold foil tiles under glass and gold tone fixtures.
The full moon with natural white striated marble looking like the man in the moon. The tides below it are represented by the golden waves upon which the moon has control.
The back wall depicts the sun in gold, with rays striking down onto the earth.

Stairs and Upper Hall

The stairs are painted gray (porch paint) gold tone details on the edge for safety coming down..
The banister ballustrades are dense and intricate. They are thought to have been added around 1900 when the home was expanded.

Upstairs Bedroom - North

North Bedroom, upstairs. This closet was added as the original bedroom did not have closets.
North Bedroom upstairs, floor has been sanded, stained, and a coat of polyurethane. Fireplace has black marble bordering the edges. Ceiling light fixture has a leaf theme.

Upstairs Bedroom - South

South bedroom upstairs with fireplace and south facing original windows. This is a very bright and spacious room with original wood flooring and beadboard ceiling. The chandelier is porcelain with large crystal dangles.

Upstairs Bathroom

The two bedrooms upstairs share the full bath which comes with all the essentials and much more.
The tile mosaic on the back was done by the homeowner and represents the ocean waves that have come to bring peace to the world in the form of sound waves carrying music.
The upstairs bathroom has a cast iron bathtub from the 1940's and with a good cleaning seems almost as good as new with minor staining consistent with age. Fixtures are gold-tone.

The back deck was completely rebuilt with all new treated lumber. The railing is part lumber and metal, while further back the fence is vinyl and about 6 feet tall.
This old shed used to be a smoke house. The roof is water tight (at the time of this writing) and has been used for storage.
